Bennington, Vermont is finally starting to show us that lovely spring weather, so as expected, everyone is more than ready to throw off their hoodies and jackets to enjoy the sun’s beautiful rays. It helps that with its lovely green trees and tons of parks and trails to trek, Vermont is a beautiful state to be in if you love the outdoors. There are plenty of places in the nearby area to visit when the weather is nice and warm, such as Lake Paran in North Bennington. This lake is full of paths and trails to go on, as well as train tracks that follow along the river that connects to the lake. As for us Southern Vermont College students, we don’t have to go very far to see the beauty in Vermont. Just look at our campus, with its wide open land that is filled with wildlife and vegetation. Not to mention the fact that we have a pretty beautiful view of the Green Mountains. All in all, there are worse places to be in the springtime than picturesque Bennington, Vermont.
