What’s the end of the semester like without some dancing involved?
This Saturday December 5th, 2015 many students drove up to the mansion to attend the Semi Formal Dance. The dance commenced at 9:00pm and ended at 12:00am and was held in the library. All night long refreshments were served alongside vegetables and dessert.
There was a photo booth during the night with props as well where students gathered in big groups to take back-to-back photos as a way to never forget the night. They also danced the night away – literally – many girls slipped their heels off and broke out their dance moves with their friends. It was a night that was enjoyable for everyone who went.
The theme was black and white so whether or not we had black and white attire our photo booth pictures came out in black and white. Everything was black and white now that I think about it – from the props to the photo booth, to the cupcakes, to the balloons, to the napkins on the table. It was all well put together.
Special thanks to Resident Director Matthew Somerville and RHA (Residence Hall Association) for putting this event together for all the student body. They are the masterminds behind it all. Also to Benyamin Wurmfeld who took professional photos the entire night of everyone. Because of you guys everyone was able to have a great time!
