What do you think Bennington will look like in the future?

It’s our third week here at SVC and if you have an eye for design, maybe you should check out what’s going on at Everett Mansion. Starting from today, SVC will be hosting a month long exhibit called “Bennington of the Future”, which was created by the students of MAUHS. The project is about the potential business opportunities and resources that could come to the town of Bennington. Greg Winterhalter, a professor here at SVC, hopes that the downtown area “ becomes more of a draw for the young people who reside here as well as the community.”

Why is this event worth visiting? Winterhalter believes “…that SVC students can benefit from the exhibit and related events in a way that will engage them more deeply with Bennington and come to realize the value of the town in enriching their educational experience.” Come by anytime to check it out. The exhibition will be here from today to March 3rd. On weekdays it’ll be open from 9am to 5pm, while on Saturdays, 1pm to 4pm.
