About the Artist:

Brin Goldman (Psychology, Class of 2016) is currently researching various portrait artists.  The one she has found most inspirational is Frida Kahlo, who according to Brin has a “tenacity paralleled by none.”  In an inspirational tone of her own, Brin reflects that Kahlo “found herself through art and used it to depict and overcome her own personal strifes. The way that Frida Kahlo painted her life fully encompasses the notion that art is immeasurably valuable.  She shows that your art can change the life of one person, and that it’s OK if that person is only you.”
