Spring Break Date Ideas

by Takiyah Douglas

1). Be Active!

If you’re a couple that just can’t stand to sit down, here’s a few things you can do:

You can hop around with each other at a Trampoline Park! Besides jumping around all day, you and your sweetheart can play a game of trampoline dodgeball or basketball.

Perhaps you both like being a little competitive? What better way to see who can one-up each other by playing a round of Laser Tag?

Another great idea could be ice skating. How romantic would it be to hold onto each other so you both don’t fall on the ice?

2) Cuisine

If you both have a love for food, make it a date!

Instead of dining out, why don’t you both stay in and make your own dinner? Not only will it cost less, but it’s nice coming up with homemade recipes!

Maybe you can’t cook or you just want to relax, but take-out is another option. You won’t have to go through the hassle of waiting to be seated at a crowded restaurant, and you can watch some TV while munching on your dinner.

3) Movie Marathon

Sometimes you just don’t want to go out or be fancy, so why not relax with a movie marathon? Nothing is more intimate than lounging in your pjs and cuddling on the couch. Here are a few movies that I would recommend:

1. Slumdog Millionaire
2. Howl’s Moving Castle
3. Warm Bodies
4. Deadpool

4) Traveling

If you want to budget, a day trip can be a great idea. Travel somewhere close that has lots of entertainment for you and your partner to experience. I would say anywhere in New England or in NY would be close enough. Another option would be to vacation somewhere else for a few days. Myrtle beach, Virginia Beach, Cape Cod, or Martha’s Vineyard is just a few suggestions that can be worthwhile.
