46 Bellevue Ave. was where I fell in love with you and the color yellow.

In a small home once filled with old cobwebs and tender memories was now washed in the brightest yellow I’ve ever seen.

And that was all you. You are yellow.

You swept away the dust and lifted me and that house and all your radiant, glowing, yellow light.

You are yellow.

And you are also love.

To love and be loved by the most compassionate of all the saints…

To wake up to be held by the most beautiful of all the sunrises…

To fall asleep next to the most beautiful of all the sunsets…

Yellow.

I can’t find the words to explain it but my favorite color is yellow because my favorite color is you.

Yellow is love. Yellow is you.
