What you need for the cold and what you want for the cold

As we go into our 2018 Fall fashion seasons, what are you going to wear? Do you think you might switch from the brands you were rocking last year? I know I sometimes revert back to the same brands such as, North Face,

Under Armour, Helly Hansen and Moncler. In Vermont, where the weather drops below zero, I purchase brands like Helly Hansen since it’s proven to keep me warm when it’s cold out during the seasons. The question everyone asks themselves before the season starts to get cold is, what am I going to wear this fall/winter? From my experiences, I always wore long-johns underneath my clothing. Usually, we all see what’s the next new big thing, either by social media or what we come across during parties, outings, family functions ect.. Naturally, we catch on to trends that are presented by our idols such as, music we listen to. For example, females may get a lot of unique clothes/makeup/etc  by the person they idolize even the apps we download on our phones. I know some people that layer up to the very top in order to keep warm and others that don’t mind spending a little more money on a coat to do the job. Have you ever felt like you don’t know when to change over and put on your seasonal clothes? If you didn’t know already, fashion runways in this generation are introducing men and women on the runway. Around this time of the year I prefer clothing “coats” like Moncler, Eddie Bower, Helly Henson, and Columbia flourish. Studies show that we use information from stores, bloggers, surroundings. It seems as if the warmer you would care to be the more it costs. Companies like Moncler, whom are on the high priced end of the spectrum, use rare fabrics and insulation for their products- making the price skyrocket. When stores start their major sales between seasons. Last year in 2017, the color of fall trend was red, so if you noticed the most frequent used pattern in there clothing. Colors like red and green are used a lot in result of the fall and summer vibes.

There’s a Nepalese jewelry designer Arpana Rayamajhi, who gets her inspiration from the many ethnic groups in the South Asian country she grew up in and isn’t afraid to incorporate bold colors or prints into her wardrobe. Then there are the newer faces in the modeling world, like Skylar Tartz, who has been favored for her all-American look, and others who moonlight as an architect and participate in a performance art group (Tandi Reason Dahl) or are pursuing a psychology degree (CleoCwiek). Senegalese-American, Amy Sall, who holds a master’s degree in Human Rights Studies from Columbia University, a journal covering African affairs often shows off her sleek minimalistic ensembles on her Instagram. When temperatures begin to drop and ice cold winds sweep the side of the mountain, there’s nothing like knowing you can bundle up in a puffer jacket to fight the cold. To show off the versatility of these thick puffer coats.

Recently seen on runways and worn by trap stars, there’s a surprisingly high level of coolness involved with such outerwear. From walking to class in the morning, to stepping out with yours friends to a hookah lounge, these insulated coats not only do  the trick for your everyday needs, but can even elevate an elegant evening look.
