Have you met Danielle Biggers?

Danielle Biggers (Sports Management, Class of 2020) is from Broadalbin, New York. Biggers graduated from Broadalbin Perth High School, where she played soccer. Her positions were striker and center-mid where she scored thirty-four goals throughout her high school career. She has been kicking around a soccer ball since the young age of four and has played for her local club team, Fulton United Soccer Club, for six years.

Throughout her career in soccer, Biggers has received a 2013 Section 2 award, the Second Team All-Star, 2014 Most Offensive Player, and the 2014 Section 2 First Team All-Star. She has also been awarded the 2015 League MVP, 2015 Section 2 First Team All-Star, and the 2015 All State Third Team. At Southern Vermont College (SVC), she has also received the title of “Rookie of the Week” twice in her inaugural season.

When asked how her team gets along, Biggers replied, “I feel my teammates and I get along very well; we have few issues between us and we generally keep a positive attitude with each other on and off the field.” She also included her thoughts on her season, where she explained that she had initially thought that the season would end with a playoff win, but “unfortunately that didn’t happen. However we grew so much as a group and most of us will return for the next season. Next year we hope to have better results. My goals for soccer at SVC are to have fun, be competitive, and to be a team leader over the next three years.”
