About the Artist:  Sara Yetto (Class of 2017) seeks to recognize the profundity of the everyday world through minimalist structure and stark, rhythmic language.  She invites her readers to explore intimate human universes free of pretension and preconception.  Sara is an unabashed fan of both Lydia Davis and the New York Football Giants.

We ate him

last night

on fine glass plates.

The taste

was bare

and dull.

He was our first.

We dined

as prudes.

As fools

who hoped

for ham.

It is not

so grand

to eat a man.
