About the Author: Cierra Mincher (Creative Writing, Class of 2017) writes all the time when inspiration takes hold, which could be found anywhere and everywhere. She writes short stories, poems, and creative fiction from observances of everyday life.  She is currently enrolled in SVC’s Shires Press Publishing Program to publish her first book through the Northshire Bookstore in May of 2017. She is hoping to continue on this path of writing and become a famous author someday.

Cierra Mincher

Wind, sky, earth and air

Float through me, breeze through my hair.

The soft and rough

Feel my touch.

Place my hands against your heart

Know that we can never be apart.

Take me through your roughest years

Let emotion flow freely, release your tears.

Take me through your brightest hours

Let the sun rain down and lift your towers.

Touch the stars in the sky above

Release the fear and accept the love.

Feel the clouds as they suspend

Accept the world, do not condemn.

Feel my soul as I glide beside you

Understanding your world as you do.
