Sneaker Talk – Fall 2018 Return!

It has been a while since we had a sneaker talk segment, I’m just glad that you decided to come back to hear more about what’s going on in the sneaker community. I will be a hundred percent honest with you; there isn’t really much I can say about it. I’m a little bit disappointed in what’s coming out in the next few months. I’m not trying to say there isn’t fire coming out at some point… because there are a few hot potatoes on the list; it’s just not how it used to be.

The heat seems like it is just being recycled like some plastic bottles, I’m beginning to think some of these companies are running out of ideas. Take Adidas with their Yeezy line with Kanye for example; I know that this is just business, and what better way to make more money than to re-release a hyped shoe that sold out quickly, but how disappointing. The Yeezy Boost 350 v2 Cream is set to be re-releasing in the month of September, as well as the 500 Wave Runners. These Creams were originally released April 29th, 2017 at $220, and their current market value is between $330 to $500 depending on the size of the shoe. The Wave Runners on the other hand were released  November 1st, 2017 at the retail price of $300, and their market value is between $400 to $800, based on the size.

The Jordan Brand is also bringing back an iconic masterpiece for us on December 8th. As they always do every holiday season, they will be giving us the Air Jordan Retro 11’s. Also this year, the Concord 11’s Air are making their highly-anticipated return to the sneaker market. These shoes have not released since 2011, so we have pretty much been waiting for eight years for this moment right here. You best believe I will be getting my pair!
