The first in a series of fun, easy, and cheap DIY projects that are perfect for any space.

My roommate and I love washi tape, and last year we had a bunch of washi tape, in cool designs, all over our suite. We wanted to do something like we did last year, and as two people addicted to Pinterest, we found this guy. This project took us about an hour or two all together.

The supplies you’ll need for this project are simple:

• 2-3 rolls of Washi Tape (we used Scotch Expressions Washi Tape in Black and a variety of colored Washi Tape)
• scissors or an exacto knife
• a flat surface

Here is how we did it:

First, we made the triangle that seemed to be in the center of the deer’s head. Then, we started the bottom. After we got as far as the second picture, we realized the deer would be too big, so we cut it down to be a bit smaller. We also started on the head, after making  it smaller.

We then worked our way up the rest of the head. The antlers were what we spent the most time on, because they had smaller triangles.

We finished the deer head, and added some color inside of the lines. The color is optional, but it helps to make it all come together, and look cool.
