Six more weeks, but who’s counting right?

Six more weeks, but who’s counting right?

As we all get piled with more work, big projects, and exams the countdown really begins!

Do you feel stressed, burnt out, and exhausted? Well, good news – there’s only six more weeks left until we can finally close all of those books, fling all of our papers, stop studying, and kick our feet up. Forty two more days and all of our worries will be gone.

We all feel like we have senioritis (a supposed affliction of students in their final year of high school or college, characterized by a decline in motivation or performance) even when half of us aren’t even seniors. Finding the motivation to finish seems nearly impossible around this time of year since the weather’s getting warmer. In moments like this where it seems like all else is lost, I envision Dory from Finding Nemo whispering “Just keep swimming.”

Keep working hard and moving forward these remaining weeks, it’s better to get things done and feel accomplished rather than falling behind and realizing it’s too late. Think of the positives things. Once you get through your finals, summer is here. You’ll reunite with old friends, go on vacation, and most importantly, catch up on plenty of sleep!

It’s becoming too evident to our professors that we are burnt out, so let’s show them that we aren’t gone yet. Finish all of your work fashionably early, ace your exams, and nail those presentations to the ground. Six more weeks remain until the game is over folks, but who’s counting right?
